Administrative License Revocation Hearings (DWI)
Once you get arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), the police officer takes your drivers license. But your drivers license is not suspended yet. You have fifteen (15) days from the date of your arrest to request a hearing to contest the Department of Public Safety from suspending you drivers license. If you do not request a hearing within fifteen (15) days from the date of your arrest, your drivers license will be automatically suspended forty (40) days from the date of the arrest.
Attorney Warren Abrams will contest your license suspension and request a hearing on your behalf. In preparation for your hearing, Mr. Abrams will be able to obtain discovery, police reports, and other documents that will help you not only in your license suspension hearing, but also help you in your DWI case. Warren Abrams has successfully defended clients in their license suspension hearings, but in the event of a license suspension, Mr. Abrams will help you obtain an occupational driver's license. An occupational driver's license will allow you to drive for work and school purposes, in addition to household purposes.
